Communication Systems

The communications systems in the Tiguan basically include the radio or the radio navigation system, telephone system, antenna system, speaker systems, RSE multi-media system, CD changer, "iPod" mount, USB MP3 player connection and sound system amplifier.

Some equipment can be obtained only as options, also not all systems are installed in every vehicle.

Note

Familiarity with the function and operation of the communication systems is needed if there are customer concerns.
Refer to the Owner's Manuals.
Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.

Troubleshooting

Most of the communications systems are equipped with On Board Diagnostic (OBD).
